Several actresses who have played both leading lady and supporting roles in Telugu cinema have bid adieu to their singlehood and embraced new beginnings with their loved ones. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day in February, ‘Akhil’ actress Sayyeshaa and Kollywood actor Arya took to social media and revealed that they will be tying the knot soon. As announced, the celebrity pair got married on March 10 in an intimate Muslim wedding held at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. While the 22-year-old actress looked beautiful in a traditional red and golden lehenga with bridal jewellery, the 39-year-old actor complemented her in a black and golden sherwani-salwar. The wedding was followed by a star-studded reception in Chennai.

Popular actress Richa Gangopadhyay who made her presence as the leading lady in Telugu and Tamil cinema has tied the knot with her business school boyfriend Joe Langella in September. The fairytale wedding happened in both Hindu and Christian traditions. During the peak of her heroine career, Richa decided to quit acting and continue her studies in the United States. In January 2019, the 33-year-old announced her engagement with Joe Langella who joined the university in 2015 after serving for the US Army in Afghanistan and Korea. The pair met during their second year as MBA students and has been dating ever since.

After getting engaged in the first week of October, Telugu actress Archana Shastry has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Jagadeesh in a traditional Hindu wedding in November. Prior to the engagement, Archana took to social media and hinted about her love life. She even shared a couple of photos featuring her boyfriend planting a kiss on her forehead. Eventually, a week later, the 30-year-old actress confirmed that she is all set to enter the wedlock with Jagadeesh. While the marriage was a strict family affair, the pre-wedding reception was attended by a slew of celebs from the Telugu entertainment industry.

‘Okariki Okaru’ fame Aarti Chabria got married to Mauritius-based chartered accountant Visharad Beedassy on June 24 in Mumbai. While the 36-year-old actress looked stunning as a bride in a red lehenga with jewellery, the groom complemented her in a golden and maroon sherwani. Sharing more about her husband, she said, "He is a chartered accountant and an international tax consultant. I am happy that we will be staying in India after marriage because I can continue my work here, and also be closer to family and friends.”

VJ and model Pooja Ramachandran roused to fame in Telugu cinema with supporting roles in films like Love Failure, Dohchay and Krishnarjuna Yudham. Popular for her stint in the second season of Bigg Boss Telugu, the 35-year-old actress has tied the knot with her beau John Kokken on the auspicious day of Vishu (April 15) in Kerala. The newlyweds often give serious couple goals with their fitness sessions and frequent vacations. John Kokken has played the baddie in several big-ticket films like KGF, Maharshi and Venky Mama.
