Nani’s latest outing
Gang Leader
has hit the worldwide screens this morning and according to early
reviews
on the internet, the comedy-drama seems to have struck the right chord with the viewers. Directed by
Vikram Kumar of 24 and Manam fame, the film follows the story of an all-women gang led by
Nani who is a crime fiction writer with a pen name 'Pencil'. While
Priyanka Arul Mohan played the leading lady in this hilarious entertainer, the supporting cast featured
Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, Shriya Reddy and Praanya P Rao. RX 100 fame Kartikeya surprised everyone by essaying the role of an antagonist.
Early this morning, Nani took to social media and shared a special post on the occasion of Gang Leader’s release. Along with a cute picture of himself and Lakshmi where he can be seen sleeping on the shoulder on the veteran actress, the 35-year-old actor wrote “Super hit ayithey lepandi otherwise don’t disturb #GangLeader is all yours Hope you all love it Mee Pencil Parthasarathy”
According to reports, all the scenes between Nani and Lakshmi are considered to be the major highlight of the film. While Polish cinematographer Mirosla Kuba Brojek has handled the lens for Gang Leader,
Anirudh Ravichander has composed soothing tunes.
