First schedule of Prashant Kumar's 'Mithai' wrapped up

Director Prashant Kumar's

'Mithai'

went on floors a few months ago. And now, the team has successfully wrapped up the first schedule after shooting some important scenes in Vikarabad and headed back to Hyderabad for the next schedule. The entire team is reportedly happy with the outcome so far.


The team began post-production for the second schedule in Hyderabad and shooting is likely to commence on March 17. Once the fresh schedule starts, the movie will be shot continuously in March and April reports suggest. The movie is bankrolled by Red Ants.

Kamal Kamaraju, Ravi Varma, Rahul Ramakrishna, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Swetha Varma, Bhushan Kalyan, Ajay Ghosh are playing pivotal roles in the film. Engineer-turned-music composer Vivek Sagar, who has delivered great music for

'Pelli Choopuli'

, has been roped in as the composer for this film which is said to be a dark comedy thriller. Ace cinematographer Ravi Varman, who worked for films like

'Jagga Jasoos'

, is cranking the camera for the film.
