The tale of the wedding began with rumours about their relationship when Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita were spotted together at the construction site of Chaitanya's new home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The couple's engagement was officially announced by Chaitanya's father, superstar Nagarjuna, on August 8, when he shared photos from their intimate engagement ceremony.

As the wedding date approaches, Sobhita a few days ago shared glimpses of their wedding preparations on Instagram, marking the beginning of the festivities with a traditional ceremony called Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam.

The couple plans to exchange vows on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a location that holds deep emotional significance for Chaitanya and his family. This venue was established by his late grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), as the couple desires to honour family traditions.

Recently, the wedding invitation went viral on social media, which included rich South Indian cultural elements. It features intricate designs of temples, bells, banana trees, and a cow, along with the names of both families. Naga and Sobhita have also included a goodies basket with items such as a piece of cloth (either a saree or dupatta), food packets, and sweets.

While the guest list remains intimate, it is rumoured to include notable names from the film industry, such as family members from the Daggubati clan, Chiranjeevi’s family, Mahesh Babu’s family, and possibly even Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.
