I jumped in to do it. I took it as a challenge and did it,” he says.
Admittedly, Sumanth Ashwin will not be playing the tailor who is on the look out for a woman who has a mole on her thigh, like Rajendra Prasad’s character does in the original. “Sreedhar gave me a nice concept of Manmadha Rekha (Cupid Line) to replace the mole concept in the original,” adds Vamsy.
Set in the backdrop of river Godavari, the film tells the story of a youngman Gopalam who dreams of becoming a fashion designer. “He realises that he has the Manmadha Rekha (Cupid Line) and sets out to woo women. Sumanth did a fantastic job,” says producer Madhura Sreedhar.
