Fashion Designer s/o Ladies Tailor: Five reasons to watch the film

Because it is dubbed as a sequel to the 1986 cult classic ‘Ladies Tailor’ directed by Vamsy himself.
The movie is about Gopalam, who is the son of Sundaram played by Rajendra Prasad in the classic ‘Ladies Tailor’. The movie was a path-breaking film in those times that had Telugu people amazed. The content of the movie is ridiculed but the movie, which was shot in a record number of days, went on to become an instant hit. As a sequel to the film, this ‘Fashion Designer’ has pulled all the right chords with its pre-release promotional content.
Director Vamsy’s trademark slapstick comedy
Director Vamsy is known for his quirky style of taking, characterisation and comedy. All of his films have heavy dose of comedy that is interlaced with the story and narration. This movie too, as shown in the trailer has his trademark comedy in the native slang of Godavari districts, which is a crowd puller.

Again, it is impossible to describe director Vamsy without having to mention his obsession with river Godavari and its nearby villages. All of his films were majorly shot in Godavari region and this film in particular, is entirely shot in Konaseema region. The sunrise and sunset shots are said to be a highlight of the movie and we really can’t wait to watch.

For the very first time, director Vamsy, who has aesthetic sense and taste for experimentation in music, collaborated with Mani Sharma. The songs are already raving reviews and have the director's mark usage of sounds. All of them were shot at Papikondalu.

While Sundaram searches for ‘Macha’ (a mole) that he believes brings him good luck, his son, Gopalam is shown possessing Manmadha Rekha. How Gopalam, who wants to move away from the village to make it big as a fashion designer in the city gets in trouble for having Manmadha Rekha is left to be seen on screen.
