Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest offering 'Veera Simha Reddy' has hit the screens today. The movie, which was released amid huge expectations, is getting mixed responses from the audience.
On the occasion of the release of the movie 'Veera Simha Reddy', a festive atmosphere was seen at the theatres in many areas of Andhra Pradesh. A goat is reportedly being sacrificed outside a theatre in Tirupati by diehard fans. Sources say a goat was sacrificed amid the screams and slogans of the fans of Balayya. Generally, during festivals and fairs, we see goats being sacrificed at the temples of Goddesses. But, it is strange that the fans of a star hero sacrifice a goat in the cinema halls. It is said that similar incidents are seen at theatres in Ongole, Nellore and Rayalaseema regions.
When it comes to the movie, 'Veera Simha Reddy' seems certain to be a hit at B and C centres this Sankranti. Director Gopichand Malineni, who is a fan of Balayya by nature, has made this movie by combining all the spices to make the fans of Balayya love it. Fans say Balayya's elevation scenes and dialogues in the movie are thrilling. The theatres are resounding with the background music of Thaman.
Shruti Haasan played the heroine opposite Balakrishna in this movie. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar played the role of Kannada hero Duniya Vijay's wife in the movie. The dialogues written by Sai Madhav Burra are another strength of this movie, which is set against the backdrop of factionalism in Rayalaseema.
