Enter The Girl Dragon: Ram Gopal Varma brings back his long-delayed project; teaser on Nov 27

Maverick filmmaker and controversy’s favourite child, Ram Gopal Varma never fails to surprise us with his eccentric films and controversial comments. After creating a sensation in the Telugu states with Lakshmi’s NTR, a biopic that showcased the tragic events towards the end of NTR’s life, the 57-year-old director is gearing up for his upcoming film Kamma Raajyam lo Kadapa Redlu. Starring Ajmal Ameer in the lead role, the trailers of this political-satire generated enough curiosity among the Telugu-speaking audience with its similarities to the political situation in Andhra Pradesh. In less than a week before announcing ‘Dadas of Hyderabad’ with George Reddy fame Sandeep Madhav, RGV has brought back his long-delayed project Enter The Girl Dragon into the limelight. Taking to his popular Twitter handle, the Sarkar director stated that this most ambitious film in his career will be India’s First Martial Arts Film and the teaser will be unveiled on Bruce Lee’s 80th anniversary. (Nov 27) Along with the title poster, he also shared a deal-signing moment between him and a Chinese producer. RGV mentioned that the International trailer will be released on December 13 in Bruce Lee’s hometown Foshan City in China. According to reports, the talented filmmaker had picked up a young girl (Pooja) from Mumbai and made her undergo rigorous training in martial arts to play the titular role. This film has been among the news for many years.
