M inuscule seems to be in these days. The God Particle has been trending big time on the Internet since news of its possible discovery broke out a couple of days. but it has run into some serious competition! And its coming from a common housefly one thats not even real! Director Rajamouli has hit bulls eye with his latest flick, Eega, whose hero is not a typical muscle-flexing, larger-than-life Tollywood superstar, but an animated housefly who can act, beat up the baddies, and whats more, dance too!
In fact, in a tongue-in-cheek sign-off scene at the end of the movie, the computer-generated eega even has a solo dance number, in which he pulls off everything from Chiranjeevis famous veena-step from Indra to Allu Arjuns trademark knee twirlers.
Within hours of its release, the eega started trending on Twitter worldwide and topped the India trending list too. From celebs to fans to filmmakers, everyone was tweeting about how a housefly did what no other hero could for Tollywood. Its no surprise then that the industry is feeling threatened by this versatile pest-turned-hero.
Allu Arjun, whose Julayi is due for release next week, will be the first one to battle the lil housefly at the BO. Even Ravi Tejas Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Prabhass Rebel that are set for release might have to fight this pesky fly.
Twitterverse goes gaga over eega @ Actor
Siddharth: I wonder what film the fly will sign next. Hope he stays grounded!
@jjake61: I loved #Eega channeling
Ravi Teja, Charan and Tarak at the end credits..left me laughing all the way
@mamaNmiyan: So this week, audiences have a choice of either watching smashin cars fly, or a fly smashing cars!
