Eega completes 7 years; cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar says ‘Proud to be part of the film’

KK Senthil Kumar, the camera work behind Indian fantasy action film Eega is known for cranking Tollywood’s best VFX films. The film released on July 6 in 2012. As the film completes seven years today, KK Senthil Kumar took to his Twitter handle to share his excitement about the film.

He added he is proud that he was a part of the movie, which starred Sudeep, Nani, Samantha, Adhitya, Thagubothu Ramesh, Noel Sean, Srinivasa Reddy, Devadarshini, Hamsa Nandini and Crazy Mohan. Samantha played the role of a micro artist who runs a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with whom Nani falls in love.
Eega, a story of a fly named Nani, was loved by the masses for its emotions, grand visual effects and beautiful songs. It had reportedly managed to collect Rs 130 crore at the worldwide box office. The film was directed by maverick SS Rajamouli and produced by Varahi Chalana Chitram.
KK Senthil Kumar has cranked films like Aithe, Sye, Chatrapati, Ashok, Yamadonga, Arundhati, Magadheera, Golconda High School, Baahubali series and Vijetha.
