Ee Rojullo actor Sri's father Durga Ram Prasad dies of coronavirus

Ee Rojullo actor Sri's father Durga Ram Prasad has passed away due to the coronavirus. He died at 8.30 pm on Wednesday at a private hospital in Vijayawada.
He was admitted to a hospital by his family yesterday after he was suffering from some illness. He, however, succumbed due to acute respiratory problems arising due to Covid-19 complications. He had reportedly died within a day of getting admitted at the hospital after he tested positive for novel coronavirus.He did not respond well to the COVID-19 treatment due to age-related issues, sources say.
The actor whose real name is Mangam Srinivas received critical acclaim for his roles as software professional Srinivas Rao in the 2012 hit film Ee Rojullo, directed by Maruthi. It is his role the Maruthi directed film is etched in audiences' minds even today. It was his silver screen debut. He also played several roles in Love Cycle, Trivikraman, Sahasam Cheyara Dimbhaka, Galata, Aravind 2 and Rai Rai as the protagonist.
The deadly virus has claimed over 5, 40, 000 lives across the world.
