Love is a beautiful emotion explored many a times in

Tollywood

. But this film is an exercise in testing you patience and establishing Rahul as a hero instead of exploring the emotion. The first half of the film sees a rebellious do-gooder Chandu (Rahul Vijay) who has no ambition in life but spends his time making people happy. Sheetal Jain (Kavya Thapar) finds out about his good nature over a series of random episodes that serve no purpose and falls head-over-heels in love with him. Except her father Pramod Jain (Murli Sharma) pulls out his inner Chandrampuli from 'Ninnu Kori' and questions his 'arahata' despite his daughter seemingly having no job either.

Despite not being a film about the art of dance, Rahul Vijay spends an excessive amount of time dancing away to songs that require no dance and emoting only with a wide smile. Except for when his pretty face crinkles a bit with confusion right before the interval. The director also seems to believe that the best way to show off Kavya's beauty is by making her hair blow constantly in close up shots. Other than mooning over the hero and organising a 'wall of happiness', she has nothing much to do in this story.

If the film expects us to care about its protagonists and the cliche-riddled predictable story, things need to change for the better in the second half.
