Actor Vijay Devarakonda has been on a career's high ever since his film, 'Pelli Choopulu' won the hearts of the audience and now, his latest film 'Dwaraka' has just hit screens.
The 2 hour 19 minutes film, directed by Srinivasa Ravindra, has the actor in a commercial role for the first time but will he manage to impress the audience this time? We have our doubts.
Probably due to the image he has built so far in his career, hardly does the actor appear convincing in his latest avatar. He even tries a hand at dancing, but not to the effect of winning some applause.
Vijay (Erra Seenu) plays the role of a former thief who sets his path straight (Krishnanda Swami) due to a series of coincidences. His character falls in love with a girl played by
Pooja Jhaveri, only to experience his life changing.
The confusion comedy that drives the film does manage to elicit some laughter out of the audience, till the interval break.
Prakash Raj and Murali Sharma are other actors who played a few prominent roles in the movie and they have done their bit well. Comedian Prudhvi Raj, Prabhakar and Raghu Babu too made their mark within the characterisation.
