DJ box office collection day 2: Duvvada Jagannadham rakes in the ‘moolah’

‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ is continuing its strong run at the box-office. The film clocked impressive revenues on day one with collections of Rs 18.4 crore approximately from the two Telugu States of AP and Telangana alone. On Day 2 on Saturday, it registered collections of Rs 8.20 crore approximately in AP and Telangana and on Day 3 on Sunday, ‘DJ’ did business of around Rs 9.10 crore.
This brings the opening weekend collections of the movie to Rs 36 crore approximately. This is by far, the best performance for any Allu Arjun film to date and with Monday turning out to be an EID holiday, the momentum is expected to be sustained. Starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead, ‘DJ’ directed by Harish Shankar has been getting a tremendous response thanks mainly to the Brahmin character portrayed by Allu Arjun in the film.
