DJ box office collection: ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ becomes the biggest opener for Allu Arjun in US premiers

Recently the overseas theatrical rights of ‘DJ’ was sold for a whopping amount of Rs.7 crore. According to sources the makers made grand arrangements for the movie's International release by booking 300 screens in US and 10 screens in Canada. It is heard that the film also registered good advance booking with some multiplexes announcing offers on ticket prices. As per reports Duvvada Jagannadham collected $400,000 at the US box office from the premiere shows.

Allu Arjun’s ‘Sarainodu’ and ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ and ‘Race Gurram’ had earlier collected $190,796, $347,267 and $102,782 respectively, at the US box office in their premiere shows. As per reports 'Duvvada Jagannadham' collected $400,000 from the US premiere shows. The film is likely to cross $1 million mark in the first weekend. Directed by Harish Shankar the film has Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
