Early Life and Career Beginnings

Ramanaidu was born into an agricultural family in the village of Karamchedu, Andhra Pradesh. After completing his schooling and college education, he started his career as a rice-mill owner and later ventured into the transport business. However, his path took a different direction when he got involved in the production of the Telugu film 'Nammina Bantu' in 1958. Inspired by actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Ramanaidu moved to Madras (now Chennai) in 1962 to work in the film industry.

Throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, he produced several notable films, including 'Pratigna Palana' (1965), 'Sri Krishna Tulabharam' (1966), and 'Sepoy Chinnaiah' (1969). However, it was the 1971 film 'Prem Nagar,' starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Vanisri, that became a blockbuster hit and solidified Ramanaidu's reputation as a successful producer.
