'#DQ41' pooja ceremony: Nani gives the first clap for the Dulquer Salmaan starrer - Watch pics

The much-anticipated film project tentatively titled #DQ41, starring Dulquer Salmaan and helmed by debutant director Ravi Nelakuditi, officially kicked off its journey with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.The launch event turned special with the presence of Natural Star Nani, who graced the occasion and gave the ceremonial first clap, formally initiating the film's shoot. Nani shared a close camaraderie with Dulquer. Director Buchi Babu Sana of 'Uppena' fame switched on the camera, and the script was symbolically handed over by Gunnam Sandeep, Ramya Gunnam, and Nani himself.The makers shared the picture from the ceremony on social media and wrote, "The much awaited #DQ41 - a heartwarming contemporary love story - launched grandly with a pooja ceremony Natural Star @NameisNani gave the clap & blockbuster directors @odela_srikanth & @BuchiBabuSana graced the event to bless the team. The studio is now set to take a leap into a larger landscape with '#DQ41' being planned as a Pan-India release in five languages.Meanwhile, the technical crew of the film includes, GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Anay Om Goswamy, and Avinash Kolla as production designer. The launch event also saw the presence of Srikanth Odela, who’s currently busy with his next, 'The Paradise', extending his support to the team. For the unversed, Srikanth Odela and Nani, after the superhit 'Dasara' are reuniting for the upcoming movie 'The Paradise', which looks to be another raw-thumping action drama film.On the other hand, Buchi Babu Sana is currently working with Global Star Ram Charan on their upcoming sports drama film, 'Peddi'.
