'Double iSmart', the highly anticipated sequel to 'iSmart Shankar', has recently been granted an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Ram Pothineni, who reprises his role from the first film, 'Double iSmart' has garnered attention for its intense violence and strong dialogues, which led to its adult rating.

One of the key highlights of the film is the Telugu debut of Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, who takes on the role of the main antagonist, aptly named Big Bull. Dutt's inclusion in the film has heightened expectations, especially with fans eager to see how his formidable presence adds to the narrative. Kavya Thapar plays the female lead, further adding to the film's appeal.

According to a report by Track Tollywood, 'Double iSmart' runs for 2 hours and 42 minutes, making it notably longer than its predecessor, 'iSmart Shankar', which had a runtime of 2 hours and 21 minutes.

The film is set to be one of the major releases this Independence Day, hitting theatres on August 15. It will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, aiming to capture a wide audience across India. Given the success of 'iSmart Shankar' in 2019, 'Double iSmart' is expected to perform well.

However, 'Double iSmart' will face stiff competition at the box office, as several other films are also set to release on the crowded Independence Day weekend. Notably, 'Mr. Bachchan' is another big release on the same day.
