Doctor-cum-actor Bharath Reddy plays Daggubati Venkateswara Rao in NTR biopic

Director Krish & Co are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that NTR biopic stays among the headlines till its massive release next year. While the first part ‘Kathanayakudu’ focuses on the inspiring journey of how NTR born into an agriculture family strived hard to become a superstar and demi-god in Telugu cinema, the sequel ‘Mahanayakudu’ showcases his achievements in the political arena like becoming the Chief Minister barely 9 months after forming the party and his path-breaking welfare schemes. During the time when Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao founded the Telugu Desam Party in 1982, his most-trusted and close aides were Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and Nara Chandrababu Naidu. While Rana Daggubati is essaying the role of the latter, Doctor-cum-character artist Bharath Reddy is stepping into the shoes of NTR’s son-in-law and Purandeswari’s husband. On the occasion of Bharath Reddy’s birthday, the makers have released his first look as the veteran politician. Sporting old-school glasses and donning white & white attire, the actor is seen guarding Balakrishna who is reprising the role of Senior NTR. The supporting actor seems to be a perfect find for the pivotal role. The first part of NTR biopic will release on January 9 and the second part will hit the screens on January 24.
