Amidst huge fanfare, Allu Arjun-starrer 'DJ' (Duvvada Jagannadham) released in cinemas this Friday. 'Duvvada Jagannadham' (Allu Arjun) is a Vijayawada-Agraharam-based youngster who runs a catering business and is a dedicated Brahmin panthulu. Along with his daily chores, DJ also ensures that the criminals get punished for their wrong-doings with the help of a cop played by Murali Sharma.
DJ meets Pooja (Pooja Hegde), his love interest in the film, in a marriage and falls for her.

Though initially she is reluctant, but soon realises her feelings for the protagonist and gives in. Royyala Naidu (Rao Ramesh) play the character of a business mogul who manages a real estate firm and dupes people of Rs 9000 crore. Until the first half, the movie focuses on building the character of DJ. Songs such as
Mecchuko
and
Madilo Gudilo
along with the title track are definitely eye-catching and foot-tapping.
The visuals are well-shot and Pooja Hegde looks stunning. The character of Rao Ramesh as Royyala Naidu is definitely the highlight of the first half. The first half comes across as a wholesome commercial pot boiler that makes you want to sit for the rest of the film.
