In November 2019, the debut film of
Krishna Ghattamaneni’s grandson and
Mahesh Babu’s nephew,
Ashok Galla was launched in Hyderabad amid fanfare. While Rana Daggubati switched on the camera for the muhurat shot, Ram Charan gave the first clap. Directed by
Sriram Adittya who has previously helmed Bhale Manchi Roju, Shamanthakamani, and DevaDas, two schedules of the untitled project have already been wrapped up.
Before the implementation of lockdown in the county, veteran superstar Krishna Ghattamaneni happened to visit the sets of Ashok Galla’s film to check out how things are progressing. Overwhelmed with Krishna’s entry to his sets, Sriram Adittya has requested the senior hero to direct a scene to which the latter obliged.
Speaking to a leading daily, Sriram said “It was truly a fan moment for me. I never expected Krishna Sir to come to our sets. He travelled 40 km to the shooting location and spent a couple of hours seeing the rushes of the film and enquiring about the status.”
Revealing that he himself requested the legendary personality to direct a scene, he added “I requested Krishna garu to direct one scene for me; he composed the scene and did it effortlessly. It was truly overwhelming for me.”
Starring
Nidhhi Agerwal as the leading lady, the untitled film features an ensemble supporting cast like Jagapati Babu, Satya, and Archana Soundarya will be seen in pivotal roles. While the music is composed by Ghibran, Richard Prasad is in charge of the cinematography.
