Recently there was a leaked phone call record of Puri Jagannath, that ridiculed the actions of Tollywood distributors to mobilize exhibitors for compensation for the ‘Liger’ losses. In the call record, the director agreed to compensate for the losses but it is only out of empathy, not a mandatory thing for him to do.

The 'ISmart Shankar' director has also mentioned the names of Warangal Sreenu and a few others those had defaulted on the film distribution agreement and the amount that was suppose to be paid for other sub-distributors. The ‘Neninthe’ director also alleged that the Warangal Sreenu has gathered other small distributors by provoking them and falsely representing that the 'Liger' director owes them the money.
