Dil Raju’s fan-boy moment during the benefit show of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab

Pawan Kalyan’s fans are on cloud-nine as their favourite star returns to screen after three long years with Venu Sriram’s Vakeel Saab.

The powerful courtroom drama released amid high expectations on Friday and has been receiving wonderful responses from the audience. It sees the comeback of the actor after Trivikram Srinivas’ Agnyaathavaasi, which had left fans disappointed. The early shows in Hyderabad were crowded and producer Dil Raju reached the single-screen theatres in KPHB by 4 AM. He even enjoyed the benefit show with his family and had a fan-boy moment, complete with celebrating Pawan Kalyan’s entry scene.

Pictures and videos of him celebrating his film have gone viral on social media. It was shocking for movie buffs to see the usually reserved producer turn into a massy Pawan Kalyan fan. Vakeel Saab is the Telugu remake of the 2016 Bollywood blockbuster Pink. The original saw exceptional performances from Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Kulhari. The film stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla in lead roles with Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj playing key roles, all of whom have received good response for their performances too. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film sees music by Thaman S.
