Dil Raju explains why the Vijay Devarakonda starrer is titled 'Family Star'!

wActor Vijay Devarakonda is gearing up for his next film 'Family Star'. Directed by Parasuram, the film marks the second collaboration of the actor and director after 'Geetha Govindam'. The film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. The movie was initially set to release in theatres in January, but it was later postponed and it is now scheduled to release in theatres on April 5. The movie is produced by Dil Raju and the producer recently speaking to the media revealed why the film is titled 'Family Star'.

He said that when he announced the movie title 'Family Star', everyone thought that the movie is depicting actor Vijay Devarakonda as a star, but what they wanted to portray was how each family man is a stat and how one wokrs hard to place their families in a reputable position and that's what the movie is about. The producer speaking at a public event said that he wants to make it clear that the film does not show just Vijay Devarakonda as a star but how a man is a cook, a lover, a husband and even turns a rowdy when his family requires him to.

On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda after 'Family Star' has signed up for his next film 'VD 12' with director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film went on floors a couple of days back and the work for it is under full swing. The movie is awaiting its next shooting schedule.
