Dil Raju acquires distribution rights of Puri Jagannadh's 'Mehbooba'

Ace producer Dil Raju has now collaborated with director Puri Jagannadh for his ambitious project 'Mehbooba'. A lot is riding on this film for Puri Jagannadh, whose son Akash Puri is making a debut with this film. Puri is also bankrolling the film himself with his production house Puri Connects. Actress Charmme Kaur, who's the co-founder of Puri Connects, revealed in a statement that Dil Raju has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of 'Mehbooba'.
"It gives us immense pride and pleasure to be associated with the successful and well reputed producer Dil Raju garu's Venkateswara Films, for our film Mehbooba, directed by Puri Jagannadh, starring 'Akash Puri', a proud Puri Connects venture," Charmme said in a statement.
"After being associated with Venkateswara Films and Dil Raju garu for blockbuster films like Idiot and Pokiri, it gives us much more pleasure and happiness to repeat our successful association for this special film of ours," she added.
Also featuring Neha Shetty, 'Mehbooba' will hit screens worldwide on May 11.
