Actor Dhanush's film 'Captain Miller' has finally reached the big screens and he is now all set to start the work for his next project. Tentatively titled 'D 51', the movie is directed by Sekhar Kammula and the film's muhurat pujah was held last year. As per the latesr update, the shooting for the trilingual film is expected to start in January.
According to the reports of India Glitz, the film is said to start shooting from January 24 and the first schedule will be shot in Mumbai and Cochin. 'D 51' is a political thriller and the film's story revolves around a political mafia. The yet to be titled film stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and the movie's music and background score is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
On the work front, Dhanush apart from 'D 51', has a few more projects in the pipeline that include two of his directorial projects. The actor's second directorial is tentatively titled 'D 50' and the film will star Dhanush, Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Anikha Surendran, Selvaraghavan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman. The shooting for the film has been wrapped up and Dhanush took to social media to announce that it is currently in post production.
The actor's third directorial has been titled 'Nilavikku Enmel Ennadi Kovam'. Tentatively called DD3, the makers of the film launched the film's title and poster on December 24 and the cast of the movie includes Dhanush, Sarathk Kumar, Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Warrier, Anikha Surendran and Shravan Kumar. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Dhanush also has the Hindi film 'Tere Ishk Mein' with Anand L Rai which is scheduled for a release in 2024.
