Devoted fan offers special puja at Tirumala for Chiranjeevi’s birthday; prays for Pawan Kalyan’s CM aspirations

Megastar Chiranjeevi celebrated his 69th birthday today, August 22, fans and his family, friends, and fans have showered him with warm wishes.

On this special day, a gesture made by a fan of Chiranjeevi has grabbed the attention of the onlookers. To express his admiration to Chiranjeevi, a fan of the actor performed Porlu Dandalu, a ritual where the devotee rolls on the ground, ascending the steps at Tirumala. The fan also offered a special puja praying for Chiranjeevi’s brother Pawan Kalyan to become the Chief Minister of the state.

According to a report by News18, the fan, who hails from Balijappalli village in Ramachandrapuram mandal of West Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh began the journey visiting the Tirupati temple, and also performed a special puja at the Srivari Stairway.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently filming for his next titled ‘Vishwambhara’, which is directed by Mallidi Vassishta. The film also has Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath in crucial roles. The music for the film is done by M M Keeravani. ‘Vishwambhara’ is anticipated to hit the theatres next year, 2024, on January 10. The film is said to be made on a massive budget of Rs 200 crore.


Pawan Kalyan on the other hand will soon resume the shoot of ‘OG’. He also has films ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ in the pipeline.
