Jr NTR's action drama 'Devara: Part 1' was released worldwide yesterday September 27th and has been enjoying exceptional numbers at the box office. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead despite some mixed reviews has been appealing to the fans making it a mass entertainer all thanks to the massive Tarak fan following.
As per a report by Sacnilk, the movie minted over a staggering Rs 77 crore in India in all languages on its opening day and collected around Rs 140 crore worldwide. The film saw a remarkable occupancy rate of 79.56% in Telugu screenings, with morning shows reaching an occupancy of 80.11%, afternoon shows at 71.46%, evening shows at 79.21%, and night shows peaking at 87.45%.
The film's performance varied across different languages, with Hindi occupancy at 18.37%, Kannada at 29.70%, Tamil at 25.94%, and Malayalam at 24.25%.
The film recorded an all time highest grossing opening in Australia minting over 500k dollars and counting. In North America, the movie crossed a gigantic figure of 3.4 million dollars on the first day.
'Devara' also recorded significant international earnings. The film grossed over $500,000 in Australia, making it an all time highest grossing opening in the country and amassed around $3.4 million in North America on its first day.
