'Devara 2' starring
Jr NTR and directed by Koratala Siva is finally back on track after a long wait. For many months fans were confused because of many rumours. Some said the film was delayed. Others said it was stopped completely.
Now the makers have given a clear update. The team is preparing to start filming soon. The sequel is expected to be bigger in story and scale. A tentative release is planned for 2027 as reported by Asianet.
Why expectations are very high
The first part of Devara released in 2024 and became one of the biggest box office performers of that year. Even though the film got mixed responses, it strongly attracted North Indian audiences. The response from there was unexpected and big. Because of this, expectations for Devara 2 became very high. People believed the sequel would take the story forward in a larger way. But suddenly many different news stories started coming out. There were strong rumours that the movie had been shelved.

Producer gives clear confirmation
Now, producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni has given an exciting update about Devara 2. He attended an event in Jangaon recently and clearly said that 'Devara 2' is happening.
He revealed that the film will start in May. He also said that the movie will be released next year and that Devara 2 will be a big blockbuster. This update has given mixed reactions online.
