Deva Katta’s assistant Bala Bodepudi turns filmmaker

Bala Bodepudi, who worked as an assistant director for filmmaker, Deva Katta, is now set to present his first venture ‘Manchu Kurise Velalo’ as a director-producer, which is touted to be a love story.
The film stars Ram Karthik as the lead with Pranali roped in as the heroine. While Katta is known for his youth-oriented flicks, Bala Bodepudi opted for a purely romantic love story. It seems that the makers are paying great attention to knitting this story together.
The shoot of the upcoming film has been wrapped up and is now in the final leg of post-production work.The team has chosen beautiful locales of Visakhapatnam, Coorg, Araku, Ooty and Hyderabad for the major part of the shoot.
Shravan Bharadwaj of ‘Malli Raava’ fame composes the soundtrack for the project. The makers of ‘Manchu Kurise Velalo’ are reportedly eyeing a December release.
