Dayana Erappa joins Mani Ratnam’s ‘Nawab’

Popular Model Dayana Erappa is making her acting debut with renowned director, Mani Ratnam’s bilingual ‘Nawab’, as per reports. The movie has been titled, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ in Tamil.
The actress revealed in a recent interview that at first she thought it was a prank call when she received a call from the film’s unit for an audition. However, she was elated when she got a confirmation call after attending two rounds of auditions.
Said to be a multi-starrer, the project has leading actors, Arvind Swamy, Silambarasan, Arun Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi playing lead roles.Jyothika, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Thiyagarajan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Mansoor Ali Khan will be playing crucial roles in the much awaited movie. Academy Award winning musician, AR Rahman is setting music for the movie. The makers have recently unveiled the film’s poster on social media.
