Dasari Narayana Rao’s statue to be unveiled at TFCC office on May 4

A statue of legendary filmmaker, Dasari Narayana Rao will be unveiled in

Filmnagar

on the late filmmaker’s birthday, May 4. Members of the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) have joined hands to erect the statue of the revered director, who was fondly referred to as “Guru garu” outside the office of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce.

submitted a proposal to erect Dasari Narayana Rao’s statue outside the film chamber. Everybody unanimously agreed that it was the right thing to do since he was well respected among all the people from the film industry and had served the industry well for many years. On the occasion of his birth anniversary, his statue will be unveiled in a lavish ceremony,”
a MAA member revealed.

Several

Tollywood

bigwigs, including

Mega Star Chiranjeevi

are expected to attend the unveiling ceremony of the 9-feet-long statue.
