Telugu actor
Vijay Deverakonda has carved a niche for himself, be it with his films, style statements or off-screen antics. The 31-year-old actor who roused to stardom with path-breaking films like Pelli Choopulu,
Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam has recently welcomed a new member into their household and it’s a white husky pup which they adorably named as
Storm Deverakonda. There is also an Instagram account for this lil’ furball filled with adorable pictures and videos.
Meanwhile, Vijay took to Instagram story on Friday and shared a funny video where he and his pet doggo Storm can be seen howling at each other. While Anand Deverakonda can be seen strolling with Storm in the premises of their residence, the ‘Dear Comrade’ actor started the show by howling from the balcony to which the cute husky replied in the same way. This hilarious clip will certainly kick-off your weekend on a positive note.
During earlier interaction with Hyderabad Times, the ‘Dear Comrade’ actor said that spending time with dogs at Puri Jagannadh’s office and watching films like Togo and Hachiko during the lockdown triggered him to own a dog. “Honestly, I’d never thought about bringing a dog home ever before in my life. There was always just too much happening in life to even think of taking on the responsibility of another living being. But spending time with dogs at Puri’s office and watching films like Togo and Hachiko during the lockdown changed something in me.” he said.
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is occupied with his upcoming pan-Indian project. Tentatively titled as Fighter, the sports-drama stars Bollywood bombshell
Ananya Panday as the leading lady and the Hindi version of the film is presented by Karan Johar through his Dharma Productions. Starring Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles, the first schedule of the multilingual film got wrapped up in Mumbai before the lockdown.
