Cricketer David Warner to make his Indian cinema debut in Nithiin's 'Robinhood'? Here's what we know

According to a Gulte report, during a recent pre-release event of the upcoming film, 'Robinhood', Ravi Shankar stated that David Warner is arriving in Indian cinema in their upcoming film. While details about his character remain under wraps, fans are speculating that Warner might bring his lively personality to the big screen in a fun and memorable cameo.
David Warner has often expressed his admiration for Tollywood through social media. From dancing to popular Telugu songs like Pushpa's 'Srivalli' to mimicking dialogues from blockbusters, Warner has charmed fans with his enthusiasm for the culture. His playful Instagram reels featuring his family performing iconic Telugu movie steps have made him a darling among Telugu audiences. He has announced his retirement from international cricket and his affection for the industry has now turned into an on-screen opportunity.

Speaking of the upcoming film, the film, Robinhood, is directed by Venky Kudumula and stars Nithiin and Sreeleela in lead roles. It is an action-comedy that reimagines the legendary tale of Robin Hood with a modern twist. Nithiin plays the titular role, while Sreeleela stars as the female lead. The film also features Shine Tom Chacko, Vennela Kishore, and Rajendra Prasad.
The film music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and the cinematography is done by Sai Sriram.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 28, 2025.
