Maverick filmmaker
Krishna Vamsi is in dire need of a successful film as majority of his recent box-office outings have turned out to be debacles. The 56-year-old who has scored some blockbuster movies like 'Gulabi', 'Ninne Pelladatha' and ‘Murari’ is firmly determined to regain his lost glory with a content-driven film this time around. A few months ago, speculations were rife that Krishna Vamsi is planning to helm a big-budget project titled ‘Rudraksha’.
There were also rumours that the ‘Khadgam’ maker has thought of remaking Marathi blockbuster ‘Natsamrat’ in Telugu. However, no film has officially materialised.
All of a sudden, T-town reports suggest that Krishna Vamsi is all set to revive ‘Rudraksha’ with popular producer
Bandla Ganesh. According to a source, Vamsi is ready with a bound script and wants to rope in a top actress to essay the lead role. Once the female lead is zeroed, the shooting of this semi-fantasy project is expected to kick-off immediately.
However, during an interactive session on Twitter, Krishna Vamsi posted that “Please do not believe anything unless I say it by myself about myself.” Well, it looks the official announcement might take some more time.
