Well-known Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh has been sentenced to jail by the High court of Delhi in connection with an alleged fraud of not paying the telecast rights of a Telugu film, Jabardasth. The city of police is all set to arrest the filmmaker based on a complaint about not paying the producers of Band Baaja Baaraat, a source said.
According to the sources, Yash Raj Films, the makers of Band Baaja Baaraat has filed a case against Bellamkonda Suresh for the unofficial remake of Jabardasth.

The court had ordered a stay on the release of Jabardasth and telecast of the film on television. Bellamkonda has been refusing to return the payment of Rs 3.5 crore for the last eight years, according to the channel management.
The television channel, who had acquired the satellite rights of the film, complained about Bellamkonda's sloppy in paying. They requested to take action against the producer for not repaying their amount. With interest rates go up, Bellamkonda Suresh should have to pay Rs 11.75 crore to the channel now. Following the complaint, Delhi High Court has issued an arrest warrant against Bellamkonda Suresh.
