Police min bharthi karao, desh ki suraksha kartha, ek kabil insaan bantha, pehle mahiney mein 16,500 ki taankha hai, says popular Hyderabadi comedian, Akbar-bin-Tabar, in a special promo shot to encourage Hyderabadi youngsters to sign up for the ongoing recruitment drive in the twin cities.

Police boletho pachas logon mein ek nahi hotha, 50 logo ko sambhal ne wala hi police hai. Tankha bhi zardast hai, CI, SI, jo banna hai bansakthe, exam dena padtha bas, goes another jingle. These innovative promos are being aired in local channels to draw youngsters to sign up for the recruitment.
Actor and producer, RK who has also shot for the promos explains, We just tried to spread the message to the masses in quintessential Hyderabadi style. We generally tend to be a little laid-back, so we just tried to find a quirky way to getting them out of the inertia. It is a great opportunity and we are glad to have been called to do our bit.
With 2,357 vacancies up for grabs in just the Twin Cities, the city police, in an unprecedented move, have roped in the services of popular Hyderabadi actors to spread the word.
