Erica Fernandez says that Christmas reminds her of all the beautiful decorations, lights, carols and sweets. Talking about the festive moods the actress says, "We start decorating the house by December 1; however, this year, I put up the Christmas tree on November 27 itself since I wasn���t going to be at home on December 1. I���m in charge of all the decorations at home, whereas my mother takes care of all the cooking.My mother���s side of the family lives in the same neighbourhood, so every Christmas and New Year, all of us get together to celebrate."
The actress adds, "It���s a never ending party and at any given point, there are at least 30-35 people... After Christmas, dad���s side of the family comes over and we all spend a lot of time together. All the sweets are home-made including mouth-watering delicacies like marzipan, milk cream, guava cheese, jujubees, date rolls and nawries. Pork is a mandatory dish in the lunch spread, apart from sorpotel, bafat, vindaloo, idlis, fugyas, pulav and other chicken and mutton dishes."
