of its release today. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Choodalani Vundi still remains one of the blockbuster hit films of the last few decades.

The film follows the story of a young mechanic Ramakrishna who loses his wife when she dies trying to save him from her father's goons lands in jail. Ramakrishna’s son is taken by Priya's father. Now, he sets out to get his son back with Padmavathi’s help. The film is remembered for its impressive screenplay, fine camera work, chart-topping music and of course remarkable performances of some of the most talented actors of the industry.
Chiranjeevi and Soundarya, sharing adorable chemistry, are one widely loved T-town couple. The duo has graced the silver screen together in movies like Rikshavodu and Annayya. Bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies, the film was later remade into Hindi as Calcutta Mail with Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. It also starred Brahmanandam, Dhulipala, Brahmaji, Venu Madhav, Ahuti Prasad, Allu Ramalingaiah, MS Narayana and Master Teja Sajja. The film resonates with today's generation, courtesy its catchy tracks like Yamaha Nagari and Ramma Chilakammma, among others.
