During an interview with Mana Stars along with his family members, Chiranjeevi revealed that his mother, Anjanamma, had faced immense hardship, losing three children either due to miscarriage or at a very young age.

"There is one incident that always moves me to tears when I think about it. We are five children for Amma, but she lost three other children either due to miscarriage or at one year or two and a half years of age," he said.

Chiranjeevi revealed that his mother, Anjanamma, had faced immense hardship, losing three children either due to miscarriage or at a very young age. One of these children was a sister named Ramana, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor during Chiranjeevi's sixth standard year.

He told, "When I was in sixth standard, we had a sister named Ramana. At that time, my father used to go to camps often for work. Thus, Amma alone used to take care of us a lot. Ramana was diagnosed with a brain tumour and passed away in a government hospital. Amma and I carried the dead body in a rickshaw to our home."

He mentioned that his father didn't know about it. During that time they didn't know how to perform the final rites. It was their Muslim neighbors who came forward to assist them with the rituals. By the time Chiranjeevi's father returned, the family had already completed the final rites.
