celebs took to social media in remembrance of the veteran dancer.

Soon after his demise, Chiranjeevi wrote, “I felt heartbroken upon learning of Shiva Shankar master’s passing. He was Saleem’s assistant and had worked with me on Khaidi. From Khaidi to Magadheera, our association has been a long one with many memorable dance steps. I met him on the sets of Acharya one last time, unknowing it will be my last meeting with him. Not just the dance field, the entire film industry has lost a talented person who is irreplaceable. My condolences to his family.”

Anushka Shetty also seemed to be grieving when she shared a still from the sets of Arundhathi, writing, “Sad to hear about the demise of Legendary Shiv Shankar master ji. Hearfelt condolences to master garu’s family. Rest in peace. (sic)” Pawan Kalyan issued a statement that reads, “It is sad that Shiva Shankar master passed away battling with Covid-19. I hoped that he would recover and this is unfortunate. He is truly a legend in classical dance and has proven his talent in the film industry. He even won a National Award for Ram Charan’s Magadheera. May his soul rest in peace, my sincere condolences to the family. (sic)”

Balakrishna remembered his close association, writing, “I have a very close association with Shiva Shankar master, who was a great personality. I worked with him in a few films and he is very dear to our family. My sincere condolences to his family, may his soul rest in peace. (sic)”
