On Monday, ardent fans of

Murali Mohan and Sarath Kumar, who starred in the 1991 film Gang Leader surfaced online. In no time, Twitter was abuzz as the #30YearsForGangLeader started trending even though there are still a few months left for the film to clock 30 years.
The picture of Chiranjeevi along with his co-stars Murali and Sarath brought back the memories of the era gone by in Telugu cinema.
The three actors played the role of siblings Raghupathi, Raghava, and Raja Ram in Gang Leader along with Vijayashanti, who played the female lead. According to online reports, both the actors went to the sets of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Acharya and met the actor. The three onscreen brothers had a chat for a long time and reminisced about old memories. Released on May 9, Gang Leader was not only a game-changer in Tollywood but also for Chiranjeevi’s career as it bought him closer to the mass audience and his mesmerising dance moves made him a household name. Directed by Vijay Bapineedu, the superhit songs were composed by Bappi Lahari.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently busy with his upcoming film Acharya.
Ram Charan, who is playing a cameo in the film has recently joined the sets and Mega fans cannot wait to watch the duo captured on a single frame together. Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya will see
Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. After this film, Chiranjeevi will join the sets of the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, directed by
Mohan Raja. Chiru will later join directors
Meher Ramesh and Bobby for his next projects.
