Chandrababu biopic first look out

The latest addition to wave of

biopic

announcements in

Telugu cinema

is that of

Chandrababu Naidu

, the film has now been titled Chandrodayam. Director P Venkataramana and producer G J Rajendra are backing the project that will be helmed under Swetarka Ganapati Enterprises and Mohana Srija Cinemas. The makers had released the first look of the film recently.

P Venkataramana elaborating on the project adds, "Chandrabau Naidu sir is a living legend and a very idealistic leader. His political growth after being born in a simple middle-class family tells a story that's very inspirational. We've already finished 80 percent of the film shoot." Vinod Nuvvula plays the title character in the film that also stars Sivani Chowdary, Mounika in leading roles. Raj Kiran lends his tunes for the project.
