At the audio launch of ‘Rarandoi Vedukachudam’, when anchor Ravi Kumar asked veteran actor Chalapathi Rao if women are harmful, Rao replied that they are useful in bed. Such a distasteful remark has not only drawn flak from all but has also landed him in some serious legal trouble.

A woman named D Kalpana Kumar has filed a police complaint against Chalapathi Rao and anchor Ravi Kumar under the Nirbhaya Act.

The two have been booked for making sexually coloured remarks and insulting the modesty of a woman according to the IPC. The complaint was filed at the Saroornagar police station with another complaint against Rao was also registered in Jubilee Hills.
It looks like Rao’s apology was in vain as he has landed in an even bigger mess after making misogynistic comments
