Chadarangam: a web-series on the dark secrets of a famous politician

Ever since the web-series

Chadarangam

was announced, produced by Manchu Vishnu, rumours have been afloat that the series is about a close associate of his father Mohan Babu, the late NTR.

While all the trailers of the show have revealed is that the show will be a political drama that focuses on a famous politician, played by Srikanth, buzz is that it will be revealing some dark secrets that no one else are privy to. Looks like the NTR biopics - Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu, by Nandamuri Balakrishna and RGV's controversial Lakshmi's NTR were not enough, as people speculate that this show will follow along the same lines.


However, there's no smoke without fire, as while launching the series in July last year,

Vishnu Manchu

had written, "Based on true incidents which rocked United AP a few years back.This will shock quite a few people." (sic) Chadarangam is directed by Raj and will premiere on February 20. Further details are awaited.
