Debutant director Koushik Pegallapati’s
Kartikeya Gummakonda and
Lavanya Tripathi starrer Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’s teaser glimpse released on Monday.
The 50-seconds-long video sees Kartikeya’s character, Basthi Balaraju, a graveyard worker fall head-over-heels for Lavanya’s character named
Mallika, a nurse. Sharing the teaser and quoting his dialogue, Kartikeya hilariously wrote on social media, “Manam preminchina ammai manak thappa migilinolandarki sister ane peeling edaithe undo..” (sic) to which Lavanya quoted her dialogue and replied, “Naalugu peeki ikkada padukopedthe neeku kuda nenu sister ne avtha.” (sic)
Shooting for Chaavu Kaburu Challaga was recently wrapped up with the makers opting for a summer release.
Apart from the lead pair, the film sees Murli Sharma and Aamani in key roles. The first glimpse of the film was also received exceptionally well, so did all the other promotional material. With music by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Karm Chawla and editing by Satya G, the film seems to tell a unique story.
Kartikeya was last seen in Gang Leader and 90 ML. The actor will soon also be seen in the Tamil film Valimai, making his debut in Kollywood. Apart from that, he will also play the role of an NIA officer in one of his upcoming films. Lavanya will also be seen in A1 Express, which sees her in the role of a hockey player.
