Catherine Tresa is an actress and model who has worked majorly in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries.

Born to Malayali parents, Catherine once stated that she knew very little Malayalam, was learning Telugu and Hindi and was fluent in English. What many don’t know is that growing up, Catherine played piano and got trained in singing, dancing, debate and even ice skating!

Beginning to model since the age of 14 on an amateur level, Catherine soon rose ranks after returning to India after studying in Dubai. She made her debut in the film industry in 2010 with the Kannada film ‘Shankar IPS’. The same year, she even made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with ‘The Thriller’. Her Telugu debut would come in the year 2013 with the film ‘Chammak Challo’. But it was her film ‘Iddarammayilatho’ that garnered her attention.
