‘Captain’ is a 2022 science fiction action film written and directed by Tamil filmmaker Shakti Soundar Rajan featuring Arya, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Simran in the lead roles. The film’s music and background score was composed by D.Imman while its cinematography was handled by S.Yuva.
The film is edited by Pradeep E.Ragav that was released today in its Telugu dubbed version coinciding with the Onam.
The film is said to be inspired by John McTierman’s ‘1987 film ‘Predator’. In the film, Arya plays the role of an Indian Army Captain and he was appointed on a mission to investigate the forest named Sector-42 for its unusual activities for quite sometime. and how did Indian Army captain has tracked the myth forms rest of the story...!
The film that was released today is being pointed out for its underwhelming script and not-so-impressive action episodes. However, Arya fans and a few sections of the audience are lauding the film for its unique story line, music and content.
