Samantha looked stunning in a simple saree, portraying the role of a married woman. Vijay, too, looked dashing in traditional dhoti attire. Following that, Samantha is reportedly planning to take a break from work for approximately one year. This break will allow her to prioritize her health and seek additional treatment for Myositis, a medical condition she has been battling. During this period, she has no plans to sign any new projects, be it in Hindi, Telugu, or any other language.

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, 'Kushi' marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Samantha, the first being the critically acclaimed film Mahanati, in which they shared screen space with Keerthy Suresh. Kushi is said to explore an unconventional love story, promising a unique and engaging cinematic experience for the audience.
