Ram Charan has set his sights on expanding his market in Tamil Nadu. The Mega Power Stars upcoming action entertainer, Bruce Lee The fighter will be his first film to release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu next week. The music of the Tamil version was launched on Friday in Chennai and the filmmakers are going all out to promote the Tamil version.
Ram Charan plays an action choreographer who is a die-hard fan of Bruce Lee in the film produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainments LLP, is releasing on October 16. Director
Sreenu Vaitla is confident that the film will appeal to cinema lovers irrespective of their nativity.
Bruce Lee is based on the story of an ordinary stunt master who finds himself in an extraordinary situation. Its a universal plot that will resonate with audiences of all ilk. Besides some breath taking action episodes which will appeal to the younger audience, there is a heart tugging sister sentiment that will resonate with the families. The relationship between Kriti Kharbanda (who plays Charans sister) and Ram Charan is one of the highlights of the movie. And last but not the least, the script packs some rib tickling entertainment as well. Its a complete package in that sense, and Im confident that the movie will turn out to be a blockbuster, says Sreenu.
Elaborating on Ram Charans performance, Sreenu adds, The characterisation of the protagonist Bruce Lee has multiple shades to it. Charan carried off all the shades with aplomb but his comedy is going to be a revelation. Producer Danayya reckons the scale of the film is sure to blow away the audience. This film is easily the most lavish production ever in my banner DVV Entertainments. The production values will set a new benchmark for Tollywood, says Danayya.
